Notice is hereby given, pursuant to section 3(2) of the Irrigation Schemes Act 1990, that the Minister of Agriculture and the Minister of Finance have entered into a sale and purchase agreement in accordance with section 3(1) of the Irrigation Schemes Act 1990:
? With Riverbend Partnership, and Nine Mile Pastoral Limited, and John Charles Perriam and Heather Lorna Perriam both of Bendigo, and Cecil William Sell and Frances Margaret Sell of Lindis Crossing (together called the Begg Stacpoole Irrigation Partnership) on 11 August 2008 for:
? A four-fifth share of Water Race Licence WR7787/96Cr; Granted as the right to take
5 heads of water from Lindis River as a first priority right from the Lindis catchment and the right to use and maintain the race described in
the licence.
? A four-fifth share of Water Race Licence WR1753Cr; Granted as an endorsement to WR7787/96Cr, a right (as limited through the notice of existing use given pursuant to section 21(2) of the Water and Soil Conservation Act 1967) to take 5 heads from Lindis River into
water race WR7787/96Cr as a second priority
right from the Lindis catchment.
? Branch Race Licence BR1384Cr: The right to carry water taken under WR7787/96Cr and WR1753Cr through the race described in licence BR1384Cr.
? The water race from Lindis River, together with the intake, control gates, by-washes, culverts, control boxes, distributary assets and associated structures, fittings and fixtures, and all other implied or perceived Physical Assets of the Scheme.
? The balance of the Scheme operating account as at
30 June 2008.
