Pursuant to section 160(3) of the Crown Entities Act 2004, I, Jane Meares, Treasury Solicitor, hereby give notice
that on 3 September 2008, the Honourable Dr Michael Cullen, Minister of Finance, and the Honourable Pete Hodgson, Minister of Research, Science and Technology, gave approval under section 160(3) of the Crown Entities Act 2004, for the Foundation for Research, Science
and Technology to enter into foreign exchange derivative transactions in order to manage foreign currency implications.
