In the matter of the Law Practitioners Act 1982:
Pursuant to sections 112(1)(a) and 113 of the Law Practitioners Act 1982, notice is hereby given that on
9 November 2007, the New Zealand Law Practitioners Disciplinary Tribunal ordered as follows:
THAT
1. Gregory Bryden Clarke be suspended from practice as a barrister and solicitor for a period commencing on Friday, 21 December 2007 at 5.00pm and concluding
on Friday, 21 March 2008 at 5.00pm.
2. pursuant to sections 112(2)(f) and 106(4)(g) and (i),
for a period of two years commencing on 22 March 2008, the practitioner shall make his practice available for inspections at three-monthly intervals by an audit inspector appointed by the New Zealand Law Society.
3. the practitioner take advice in relation to the management of his practice from such person or
persons to be nominated by the practitioner and approved by the Auckland District Law Society and the chair of the tribunal.
4. the practitioner pay to the New Zealand Law Society the sum of $1,533.34.
5. the practitioner pay to Auckland District Law Society the sum of $4,793.28.
