Pursuant to section 160(3) of the Crown Entities Act 2004, I, John Henry Whitehead, Secretary to the Treasury, hereby give notice that on 29 November 2007, the Minister of Research, Science and Technology and Minister of Finance gave approval under section 160(1)(b) of the Crown
Entities Act 2004, in relation to section 163 of that Act,
for the Foundation for Research, Science and Technology (“the Foundation”) to give indemnities under contracts for
its membership of the Australian Co-operative Research Centre for Greenhouse Gas Technologies.
The Ministerial approval was subject to the Foundation amending certain terms of the contracts, and taking out additional insurance cover.
