Pursuant to section 250 of the Resource Management Act 1991, and on the recommendation of the Attorney-General, after consultation with the Minister for the Environment
and the Minister of Maori Affairs, His Excellency the Governor-General of New Zealand has been pleased to appoint
Melanie Harland, District Court Judge
to be an alternate Environment Judge of the Environment Court on and from 1 November 2007.
