Pursuant to section 5 of the District Courts Act 1947, and section 5(1) of the Family Courts Act 1980, His Excellency the Governor-General of New Zealand has been pleased to appoint
Maree Ann Mackenzie, solicitor of Tauranga
to be a District Court Judge, to exercise civil and
criminal jurisdiction within New Zealand, and to exercise the jurisdiction of the Family Courts on and from 16 January 2008;
Simon John Maude, solicitor of Wellington
to be a District Court Judge, to exercise civil and
criminal jurisdiction within New Zealand, and to exercise the jurisdiction of the Family Courts on and from 18 January 2008; and
Richard John Russell, solicitor of Invercargill
to be a District Court Judge, to exercise civil and
criminal jurisdiction within New Zealand, and to exercise the jurisdiction of the Family Courts on and from 30 January 2008.
