Notice is hereby given, pursuant to section 3(2) of the Irrigation Schemes Act 1990, that the Minister of Agriculture and the Minister of Finance have entered into various sale and purchase agreements in accordance with section 3(1) of the Irrigation Schemes Act 1990:
With Thomas Earl Harrex and Pamela May Harrex both of Becks, and Richard Neil Beattie of Becks, and John Gerard Waldron of Becks, and Ottrey Farms Limited of Becks (together called Downs Settlement Irrigators) on 30 July 2007 for the right to take: 10 heads of water from Dunstan Creek as a first priority right from the main stem of Dunstan Creek presently comprised in Water Race Licence WR4892N; Branch Race Licences BR48494N - 4 Heads and BR4895N - 4 heads; and Flood Race Licences (Bywashes) FR4897N, FR4898N, FR4899N, FR4900 and FR4901N.
With Moutere Station Limited, having its registered office at PricewaterhouseCoopers, Level 1, Forsyth Barr House, The Octagon, Dunedin, and Murray Ashton
of Chatto Creek, on 1 October 2005 for the right to
take: 4 heads of water from Laheys (or Leahy's) Creek; 4 heads from Campbells (or Sutherlands) Creek; and
6 heads from Young Hill Creek as a second priority right from the Chatto Creek catchment otherwise known
as Water Race Licence WR1001A and the right to carry water taken under WR1001A through a race at the
place known as "the Drop" to Young Hill Creek otherwise known as Branch Race Licence BR2111A.
With Pioneer Generation Limited, having its registered office at 11 Ellis Street, Alexandra, on 1 December 2005 for the right to take 30 heads of water from Roaring Meg as a third priority right in the Roaring Meg catchment otherwise known as Water Race Licence WR3891 Cr.
With Jeremy Arthur Bell of Wanaka, on 1 December 2005 for the right to take 7 heads of water from Luggate Creek as a fourth priority right from the main stem of Luggate Creek.
Calder Farming Co Limited, having its registered office at Mackay Bailey Butchard Limited, 4/262 Oxford Terrace, Christchurch, on 1 December 2005 for the right to take one head of water from Woolshed Creek as a fourth priority right from the Dunstan Creek catchment otherwise known as Water Race License WR1434N.
