Pursuant to section 68 of the Civil Defence Emergency Management Act 2002, I, Meng Foon, hereby declare that a state of local emergency exists in the Gisborne City Ward.
The state of civil defence emergency shall come into force on the date of this declaration.
This state of local emergency expires at 1.00am on
28 December 2007 or with the commencement of the 7th day after the date on which this declaration was declared, whichever is the earliest.
