Pursuant to section 30D of the Telecommunications Act 2001 (“the Act”), the Commerce Commission (“Commission”) gives public notice that it has decided, under section 30C of the Act, to initiate a standard terms development process for the designated access service described as “Telecom’s unbundled copper local loop network backhaul (distribution cabinet to telephone exchange)”.
Under section 30C(2) of the Act, the Commission is satisfied that the applicable condition in relation to the service has been met as a standard terms development process was initiated under subpart 2A of Part 2 in respect of Telecom’s unbundled copper local loop network (distribution cabinet) on 19 December 2007.
