Pursuant to section 161(3) of the Land Transport Act 1998, notification is hereby given of the making of Land Transport Rule: Fuel Consumption Information 2008 (Rule 33020), which provides for the collection of accurate and reliable fuel consumption information for light vehicles entering the New Zealand fleet.
This Rule comes into force on 1 February 2009.
Land Transport Rule: Fuel Consumption Information 2008 is available for inspection free of charge at the National Office of the NZ Transport Agency, Victoria Arcade,
44 Victoria Street, Wellington, and for purchase from late September 2008 at selected bookshops that sell legislation.
