Pursuant to section 79(5) of the Hazardous Substances and New Organisms Act 1996 (“HSNO Act”), the Environmental Risk Management Authority gives notice that it has approved the Hazardous Substances Separation – Locations as a code of practice under the HSNO Act.
This code is a means of compliance with Regulations 21, 76, 95 and 117 of the Hazardous Substances (Classes 1 to 5 Controls) Regulations 2001.
This code has been developed by HSNO Resources
Limited and sets out the separation requirements between incompatible substances.
This code can be inspected at the Wellington office of ERMA New Zealand, Level 1, BP House, 20 Customhouse Quay, Wellington, and will be available from HSNO Resources Limited, PO Box 898, Cambridge.
