Pursuant to section 8 of the Ombudsmen Act 1975,
His Excellency the Governor-General of New Zealand has been pleased to appoint
Melwyn Purefoy Smith, of Wellington
as an additional Ombudsman, for a period of six months commencing on 8 June 2007.
