Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, the Southland District Council hereby gives notice that a resolution to the following effect was passed by Council on 12 December 2007:
"That pursuant to Section 16(10) of the Reserves Act 1977 the Southland District Council hereby declares that the land vested in Council, and described as Section 4 Block XI and Section 1 Block XIII Town of Hirstfield, containing 2.9415 hectares and being part Computer Freehold Register SL9B/55, shall henceforth be known as Aropaki Recreation Reserve."
