Pursuant to section 12 of the New Zealand Geographic Board Act 1946, notice was given on 31 May 2007 of the intention of the New Zealand Geographic Board Nga Pou Taunaha o Aotearoa to assign the new or altered place names stated in the first column of the Schedule below, to the respective places described in the second column of the said Schedule. Objections were received to these proposed names and were dealt with pursuant to section 13 of the said Act.
I hereby declare my decisions, made on 3 December 2007, are that the names of these places shall be as referred to in the first column of the Schedule below, as described in the second column of the said Schedule, and that these decisions take effect on 13 December 2007.
