Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Community Relations Manager for the East Coast Hawke's Bay Conservancy
of the Department of Conservation classifies the reserve described in the Schedule as a scenic reserve for the purposes specified in section 19(1)(a) of the Act, and declares that it form part of the Boundary Stream Scenic Reserve.
