Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Community Relations Manager for the Southland Conservancy of the Department of Conservation cancels the vesting in the Gore District Council and changes the purpose of the reserve described in the Schedule from a local purpose (gravel) reserve to a local purpose (soil conservation and river control) reserve, and further vests the reserve in Hokonui Runanga Incorporated in trust for that purpose, subject to the provisions of the Act.
