Pursuant to section 32 of the Civil Defence Emergency Management Act 2002, the Minister of Civil Defence gives the following notice.

Under section 32 of the Civil Defence Emergency Management Act 2002, I hereby give notice of the completion of the National Civil Defence Emergency Management Strategy.
The strategy was presented to the House of Representatives on 11 December 2007 and, subject to section 35, will come into force after 15 sitting days.
