Pursuant to section 11A of the Judicature Act 1908,
His Excellency the Governor-General of New Zealand, in the name and on behalf of Her Majesty The Queen, has been pleased to appoint
The Honourable Robert Andrew McGechan
an Acting Judge of the High Court for a term of four months, the commission to take effect on 1 November 2007, a certificate having been signed by the Chief Justice and the Chief High Court Judge that in their opinion it is necessary for the due conduct of the business of the Court that an Acting Judge be appointed.
