Pursuant to section 87U(4) of the Civil Aviation Act 1990 and to sections 41(1) and 42 of the State Sector Act 1988,
I give notice that, having received an application from US Airways, Inc., of Tempe, Arizona, a designated airline of the United States of America, John Gibson Bradbury, Acting Secretary for Transport in the Ministry of Transport, has granted the airline an open aviation market licence to carry on scheduled services and non-scheduled flights for an indefinite term with effect from 24 September 2007.
