Notice is hereby given, in accordance with section 94(2) of the Motor Vehicle Sales Act 2003, that a Motor Vehicle Disputes Tribunal has found against the following motor vehicle traders:
MVD 135/06Decision No.: Ak. 102/06 The Trade-In Centre Ordered that the purchaser return the vehicle to the trader. Trader is ordered to pay the purchaser compensation of $270.32 plus any capital payments and insurance refunds and costs of $50.00.
MVD 182/06Decision No.: Ak. 03/07 Spot Auto Auctions Limited Ordered that the trader pay the purchaser the sum of $3,584.84.
MVD 203/06Decision No.: Ak. 136/06 C & E Limmer Holdings Limited (trading as Albion Wholesale Vehicles) Ordered that the trader pay the purchaser the sum of $21,000.00 plus costs of $50.00. Purchaser ordered to return the vehicle to the trader.
MVD 14/07Decision No.: Wn. 21/07 Garry Cliff (trading as Magnum Prestige) Ordered that the trader pay the purchaser the sum of $5,000.00 plus costs of $730.00.
MVD 18/07Decision No.: Ak. 38/07 Summers Property Holdings Limited (trading as Paul Chong Motors) Ordered that the trader pay the purchaser the sum of $22,105.88. Purchaser to release vehicle to trader upon payment.
MVD 106/07Decision No.: Ak. 86/07 Online Vehicle Auctions Limited (trading as Oval.Co.NZ) Ordered that the trader pay the purchaser the sum of $1,750.00.
MVD 125/07Decision No.: Ak. 87/07 Drive N Save Cars Limited Ordered that the trader pay the purchaser costs to a maximum of $800.00.
MVD 126/07Decision No.: Ak. 109/07 Aska Company Limited (trading as Aska Cars) Ordered that the trader pay the purchaser the sum of $21,995.00 plus compensation of $2,900.00.
MVD 128/07Decision No.: Ak. 101/07 T.A.S.S. Group Limited (trading as TASS Motor Group) Ordered that the trader pay the purchaser the sum of $4,150.90.
MVD 137/07Decision No.: Ak. 98/07 Online Vehicle Auctions Limited (trading as Oval.Co.NZ) Ordered that the trader pay the purchaser the sum of $10,250.00 plus compensation of $464.60. Upon full payment, the trader is to collect the vehicle at its own expense.
MVD 156/07Decision No.: Ak. 116/07 European Cars Limited (trading as European Cars) Ordered that the trader pay the purchaser compensation of $2,991.58 plus costs of $300.00.
MVD 163/07Decision No.: Ak. 110/07 Phoenix Cars Limited Ordered that the trader pay the purchaser the sum of $12,900.00 plus compensation of $899.00. Upon full payment, the trader is to collect the vehicle from the purchaser at its own expense.
