Pursuant to section 23(3) of the Burial and Cremation Act 1964, His Excellency the Governor-General of New Zealand has appointed the Queenstown Lakes District Council to have the control and management of Pembroke Cemetery (sometimes known as Wanaka Cemetery), as described in the Schedule hereto, from the date of publication of this notice in the New Zealand Gazette.
