Motor Vehicle Disputes Tribunal

Notice is hereby given, in accordance with section 94(2) of the Motor Vehicle Sales Act 2003, that a Motor Vehicle Disputes Tribunal has found against the following motor vehicle traders:
MVD 229/06Decision No.: Wn. 09/07 Christies Limited (trading as Shineray Motorcycles) Ordered that the trader is to pay the purchaser the sum of $2,695.00 plus compensation of $70.00. Upon payment the trader is to collect the vehicle from the purchaser.
MVD 3/07Decision No.: Wn. 08/07 Country Cars Limited Ordered that the trader pay the purchaser the sum of $500.00.
MVD 17/07Decision No.: Ak. 34/07 Ezy Buy Car Auctions Limited (trading as Ezybuy Car Auctions Limited) Ordered that the trader pay the purchaser the sum of $3,895.80.
MVD 25/07Decision No.: Ak. 35/07 Pinnacle Motors (NZ) Limited Ordered that the trader pay the purchaser the sum of $11,000.00 plus any capital payments. Upon payment the trader shall uplift the vehicle at its own expense.
MVD 27/07Decision No.: Ak. 36/07 Robert L. Motors Limited Ordered that the purchaser return the vehicle to the trader. Trader is to pay the purchaser any capital payments.
MVD 30/07Decision No.: Ak. 45/07 Autotec Car Imports Limited Ordered that the purchaser return the vehicle to the trader. Trader is to pay the purchaser the sum of $8,300.00.
MVD 36/07Decision No.: Ak. 39/07 Turners Auctions Limited (trading as Turners Car Auctions) Ordered that the trader pay the purchaser the sum of $5,050.00 plus compensation of $1,511.64 plus costsof $50.00. Upon payment the purchaser is to transfer the ownership of the vehicle to the trader.
MVD 43/07Decision No.: Ak. 47/07 Budget Car Auctions Limited Ordered that the trader pay the purchaser the sum of $1,680.00.
