Notice of Intention to Consider Varying a Scheduled International Air Service Licence

Pursuant to section 87J(3) of the Civil Aviation Act 1990, sections 41(1) and 42 of the State Sector Act 1988, and
a delegation from the Secretary for Transport dated
22 September 2004, I give notice that having received
an application from Air New Zealand Limited, the Minister of Transport intends to consider varying the scheduled international air service licence held by that airline in order to provide for:
? in respect of China, the right to operate five combination services per week;
? in respect of Hong Kong, the right to operate nine passenger services per week; and
? in respect of Switzerland, the right to provide such capacity as is filed with and acknowledged by the Secretary for Transport, and removal of the traffic
rights restrictions pertaining to Bangkok, Hong Kong and Singapore.
Any person wishing to make representations to the Minister of Transport relating to this application must forward those representations in writing to reach me at the Ministry of Transport, PO Box 3175, Wellington, on or before 31 May 2007.
