Pursuant to section 24(1) of the Building Act 2004
("the Act"), I give notice of an amendment to the compliance document for New Zealand Building Code clause G13 Foul Waste ("Compliance Document G13").
The amendment to Compliance Document G13 comes into force on 23 June 2007.
Compliance Document G13 is available for download free of charge from the Department of Building and Housing ("DBH") website at:

Amendment to material incorporated by reference
Pursuant to sections 406(c)(ii) and 410(1)(e) of the Act,
I give notice that the material previously incorporated by reference into Compliance Document G13, as set out
in Column 1 below, will be replaced by the material in Column 2:

The changes to material incorporated by reference set out
in Column 2 will take effect in the amended Compliance Document G13 on 23 June 2007.

Viewing materials incorporated by reference
Materials incorporated by reference are available for inspection free of charge at the DBH National Office, Level 6, 86 Customhouse Quay, Wellington, between the hours of 8.30am to 5.00pm, Monday to Friday.
The materials incorporated by reference set out above, which relate to plumbing installation, as referred to in section 410(1)(c) of the Act, are available for inspection
free of charge at all DBH offices during working hours.
