Pursuant to section 26 of the Fire Service Act 1975, the
New Zealand Fire Service Commission hereby gives
the following notice.
N o t i c e
1. This notice may be cited as the Christchurch Fire District Notice, December 2003.
2. This notice shall come into force on 10 December 2003.
3. This notice revokes and is in substitution for all previous fire district notices for Avon and Waimairi Fire Districts.
Constitution of a Fire District
(a) The urban areas of Christchurch are hereby constituted as a fire district.
(b) The boundary of the constituted fire district is defined and delineated on a plan held at the National Headquarters, New Zealand Fire Service, Wellington.
