Pursuant to section 79 of the Hazardous Substances and New Organisms Act 1996 ("HSNO Act"), the Environmental Risk Management Authority gives notice that it has approved ISO 11119-1 Part 1 (2002) as a code of practice under the HSNO Act.
This code is a means of compliance with Regulation 10(c) of the Hazardous Substances (Compressed Gases) Regulations 2004.
It sets out amendments to ISO 11119-1 to enable compliance with New Zealand law.
This code can be inspected at the Wellington office of ERMA New Zealand (Level 1, BP House, 20 Customhouse Quay, Wellington) and will be available from Luxfer Australia.
