Pursuant to section 79 of the Hazardous Substances and New Organisms Act 1996 (“HSNO Act”), the Environmental Risk Management Authority gives notice that it has approved
the Department of Labour Code of Practice for Pressure Equipment (Excluding Boilers) as a code of practice under the HSNO Act.
This code is a means of compliance with clauses 73(3)(a)(iv), (b)(iv), (c)(iv) and (d)(iii) of Schedule 8 to the Hazardous Substances (Dangerous Goods and Scheduled Toxic Substances) Transfer Notice 2004 (as amended).
This code can be inspected at the Wellington office of ERMA New Zealand, Level 1, BP House, 20 Customhouse Quay, Wellington, or the Office of The New Zealand Refining Company Limited, Marsden Point, Whangarei.
