On 19 January 2007, the Commerce Commission (“Commission”) received an application from Vodafone New Zealand Limited for an undertaking under Schedule 3A of the Telecommunications Amendment Act (No 2) 2006 (“the Act”).
The undertaking relates to the Commission’s current investigation under Schedule 3 of the Act into whether or not to amend the specified services of National Roaming and Co-location on Cellular Mobile Transmission Sites.

Pursuant to clause 16 of Schedule 3A of the Act, the Commission gives public notice of the application for an undertaking.
Submissions on the application are due by 9 March 2007.
