On 31 August 2005, the Commerce Commission ("Commission") made a determination, under section 39
of the Telecommunications Act 2001 ("the Act"), on the
multi-party application for determination of "local telephone number portability service" and "cellular telephone number portability service" designated multinetwork services ("Decision 554").
On 17 May 2006, Decision 554 was amended by Decision 579.
Pursuant to section 58(2) of the Act, the Commission gives public notice that it has amended Decision 554 for the purposes of making a clarification under section 58(1) of
the Act.
