Pursuant to section 79(5) of the Hazardous Substances
and New Organisms Act 1996, the Environmental Risk Management Authority advises that it has approved a Code of Practice for Design and Construction of Fabricated Vertical Cylindrical Above Ground Thermoplastic Stationary Tanks for the Storage of Hazardous Liquids with Class 5, 6, 8 and 9 Hazard Classifications.
This code is intended to provide a means of compliance with the regulatory requirements of clauses 8(2), 77(b)(i) and 93(1)(a) of the Hazardous Substances (Dangerous Goods
and Scheduled Toxic Substances) Transfer Notice 2004.
This code can be inspected at the Wellington office of ERMA New Zealand, Level 1, BP House, 20 Customhouse Quay, Wellington, or the Auckland Office of APD Limited, 298 Neilson Street, Penrose, Auckland.
