Pursuant to sections 4(1) and 8(1) of the Forest and Rural Fires Act 1977, the National Rural Fire Authority hereby makes the following notice.
Notice
1. Title and commencement—(1) This notice is the Linton Military Camp Defence Rural Fire District Constitution and Administration Notice 2007.
(2) This notice comes into force 28 days after its publication in the New Zealand Gazette.
2. Constitution of the Linton Military Camp Defence Rural Fire District—(1) The areas set out in the Schedule to this notice are hereby constituted and declared to be a rural fire district to be known as the Linton Military Camp Defence Rural Fire District.
(2) The boundaries of the fire district are defined and delineated on plan NRFA0701, held at the offices of the National Rural Fire Authority, Wellington.
3. The Fire Authority for the Linton Military Camp Defence Rural Fire District—For the purposes of the Forest and Rural Fires Act 1977 the Minister of Defence is the Fire Authority for the Linton Military Camp Defence Rural Fire District.
