Applications for Reconsideration
On 11 December 2006 and 13 December 2006, ihug Limited (“ihug”) and Callplus Limited (“Callplus”), respectively, each filed an application with the Commerce Commission (“the Commission”) for reconsideration of Decision 582, under section 59 of the Telecommunications Act 2001
(“the Act”).
On 22 December 2006, the Commission decided that it would reconsider Decision 582 and that it would consider the applications together.
Decision 582 was issued on 22 June 2006 and relates to the designated access service of “access to and interconnection with Telecom’s fixed PDN”.
The parties to the determination were Telecom New Zealand Limited (“Telecom”), ihug and Callplus.
The Commission gives public notice that it has issued a draft decision for these applications.
The Commission seeks submissions on the draft decision by 5.00pm on 7 March 2007.
