Redefining Maori Freehold land as a

Maori Reservation
Pursuant to section 338 (5) (c) of Te Ture Whenua Maori Act 1993, on the recommendation of the Maori Land Court, the purpose of the Maori reservation as set out in the
New Zealand Gazette, 8 August 1963, No. 47, page 1121, is redefined in the Schedule hereto as Maori freehold land and is set apart for the purpose of a marae to be known as the Makaurau Trust Reservation for the common use and benefit of the members of the Ahiwaru, Waiohua and Ngati Mahuta tribes.
