Notice is hereby given of the final decisions of the New Zealand Geographic Board Nga Pou Taunaha o Aotearoa to assign the place names stated in the first column of the Schedules below to the places described in the second column of the said Schedules, and that such decisions took effect on 8 November 2006.

Gargoyle Turrets 77º09.85'S Latitude 161º38.72'E Longitude. A group of three prominent buttresses, approximate height 1200m, situated at the top of steep cliffs, above the Miller Glacier and opposite Queer Mountain, in the Saint Johns Range. Topographic map: ST 57-60/5 Taylor Glacier (1:250,000).

Gupwell Pond 77°33'30?S Latitude 160°54'18?E Longitude. A pond 500m south of midmost Hoffman Ledge in the Labyrinth of Wright Valley, McMurdo Dry Valleys. Topographic map: Labyrinth (1:50,000).
Hawthorne Bluff 77°29'S Latitude 160°21'E Longitude. A rock bluff at the south end of McAllister Hills in Victoria Land. Topographic map: Webb Lake (1:50,000).
Kurasawa Pond 77°31'45?S Latitude 160°44'30?E Longitude. A pond in the north-west part of the Labyrinth of Wright Valley, McMurdo Dry Valleys; it lies south of Dean Cirque and 800m east of the Wright Upper Glacier terminus. Topographic map: Labyrinth (1:50,000).
Murray Pond 77°33'48?S Latitude 160°55'00?E Longitude. A pond 600m east south-east of Gupwell Pond in the Labyrinth of Wright Valley, McMurdo Dry Valleys. It is the westernmost of the three aligned ponds lying south of the east part of Hoffman Ledge. Topographic map: Labyrinth (1:50,000).
Nakai Snowfield 77°29'S Latitude 161°31'E Longitude. A snowfield at approximately 1600m elevation that occupies the col between Mount Hercules and Mount Jason in Olympus Range, McMurdo Dry Valleys. Topographic map: Victoria Upper Lake (1:50,000).
Watanuki Pond 77°31'39?S Latitude 160°46'00?E Longitude. A pond lying 2.7km south south-west of Apollo Peak in the north-west part of the Labyrinth of Wright Valley. The pond is also positioned as being 400m east north-east of Kurasawa Pond and 1.3km east of the Wright Upper Glacier terminus. Topographic map: Labyrinth (1:50,000).
Williams Pond 77°32'32?S Latitude 160°58'34?E Longitude. A pond 600m north of the east end of Hoffman Ledge in the Labyrinth of Wright Valley, McMurdo Dry Valleys. Topographic map: Labyrinth (1:50,000).
