Pursuant to section 14 of the Reserves Act 1977, the following resolution was passed by the Dunedin City Council on 4 December 2000:
“In exercise of the powers conferred on the Dunedin City Council by section 14 of the Reserves Act 1977, the
said Council resolves that the parcels of land held by it in fee simple and described below are declared to be a reserve within the meaning of the said Act and shall be held for the purposes of a recreation reserve.
