Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Community Relations Manager for the Tongariro Taupo Conservancy of the Department of Conservation revokes the reservation as a recreation reserve over the land described in the Schedule and declares that the land vests in the Taupo District Council in fee simple, provided that a sum equal to the current market value of the land is paid by council into its reserves account to be used and applied in or towards the purchase of other land for reserves in the locality of the land described in the Schedule.
