Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Acting Community Relations Manager for the Auckland Conservancy of the Department of Conservation classifies the reserve described in the Schedule as a scenic reserve, for the purposes specified in section 19 (1) (a) of the Act, and declares the scenic reserve is to be known as the Nukumea Scenic Reserve.
