In exercise of the powers conferred on it by delegated authority under the Reserves Act 1977, the Whangarei District Council notifies the following resolution passed
by the council on 15 June 2006:
“(a) That pursuant to Section 16 of the Act the Council declares the reserve described in the First Schedule be classified recreation reserve, subject to the provisions of the Act, and further declares pursuant to section 16 (10), that the land be known as Kensington Park Recreation Reserve.
(b) That pursuant to Section 14 of the Act, the land described in the Second Schedule is declared recreation reserve, subject to the provisions of the Act, and added to the Kensington Park Recreation Reserve.”
