Notice of Intention to Consider Varying a Scheduled International Air Service Licence

Pursuant to section 87J (3) of the Civil Aviation Act 1990, sections 41 (1) and 42 of the State Sector Act 1988, and
a delegation from the Secretary for Transport dated
22 September 2004, I give notice that having received
an application from Air New Zealand Limited, the Minister of Transport intends to consider varying the scheduled international air service licence held by that airline in order that it may, as the marketing carrier in a code-share arrangement with a Chinese carrier:
? provide services over the route points in New Zealand, optionally via intermediate points, to points in China
and optionally to points beyond China; and
? offer such level of capacity as filed with and acknowledged by the Secretary for Transport.
Any person or organisation wishing to make representations relating to this application must forward those representations in writing to reach me at the Ministry
of Transport, P.O. Box 3175, Wellington, on or before
28 December 2006.
