Pursuant to Regulation 101 (10) of the Electricity Regulations 1997, I, Graham Boxall, acting under the delegated authority from the Chief Executive of the Ministry of Economic Development, hereby give public notice that any designated certification body within the meaning of Paragraph 2
of Part 1 (Definitions) of the “Arrangement between the New Zealand Commerce and Industry Office and the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in New Zealand in relation to Facilitating Trade in Electrical and Electronic Products” is recognised for the purposes of Regulation 101 (9).
This notice comes into force on the 1st day of March 2006.

Explanatory Note
This note is not part of the notice, but is intended to indicate its general effect. This notice prescribes:
(a) an organisation, agency, programme, or regime recognised by the Secretary under Regulation 101 (10) of the Electricity Regulations 1997; and
(b) arrangements for the recognition of foreign designated certification bodies.
