Pursuant to sections 5 and 28B of the District Courts
Act 1947, Her Excellency the Governor-General of
New Zealand has been pleased to appoint
Kevin James Phillips, barrister and solicitor, of Queenstown
to be a District Court Judge, to exercise civil and criminal jurisdiction in New Zealand, and to exercise the
criminal jurisdiction of the District Courts under Part IIA of the District Courts Act 1947 on and from 20 February 2006; and
Duncan George Harvey, barrister and solicitor, of Palmerston North
to be a District Court Judge, to exercise civil and criminal jurisdiction within New Zealand, and to exercise the criminal jurisdiction of the District Courts under Part IIA of the District Courts Act 1947 on and from 28 February 2006.
