Pursuant to section 9 of the Law Commission Act 1985, and sections 28 (1) (b) and 32 (1) (b) of the Crown Entities Act 2004, His Excellency the Governor-General of New Zealand has been pleased to appoint
John Frederick Burrows, Q.C., Professor of Law, of Christchurch
to be a Commissioner of the Law Commission for a term of five years on and from 1 February 2007.
