Pursuant to section 29 of the Building Act 2004 ("the Act") notice is given that the Compliance Document H1 Energy Efficiency is proposed to be amended.
The Statement of Proposal is available from the national office of the Department of Building and Housing, Level Six, 86 Customhouse Quay, Wellington, between the hours of 8.30 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. Monday to Friday.

Pursuant to section 409 (2) (d) of the Act, I give notice that the BRANZ House Insulation Guide, 1995 and NZS 4305:1996 incorporated by reference in Compliance Document H1 are proposed to be replaced by the BRANZ House Insulation Guide Second Edition 2005 and AS/NZS 4859.1:2002.
The BRANZ House Insulation Guide Second Edition 2005 and AS/NZS 4859:1:2002 are available for free of charge at the national office of the Department of Building and Housing, Level Six, 86 Customhouse Quay, Wellington, between the hours of 8.30 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. Monday to Friday, or may be purchased as follows:
