Pursuant to section 10A of the District Courts Act 1947,
and on the recommendation of the Attorney-General, after consultation with the Minister for the Environment and
the Minister of Maori Affairs, pursuant to section 250
of the Resource Management Act 1991, Her Excellency,
the Governor-General of New Zealand, has been pleased
to appoint
Shonagh Ellen Kenderdine, Environment Judge, to retire on 6 August 2006
to be an Acting District Court Judge, to exercise civil and criminal jurisdiction in New Zealand for a period of two years on and from 7 August 2006 and to be an alternate Environment Judge of the Environment Court on and from
7 August 2006.
