Pursuant to Regulation 6 (3) of the Fisheries (South Tasman Rise Orange Roughy Fishery) Regulations 2000, the Manager International of the Ministry of Fisheries (acting pursuant to a delegated authority in accordance with section 41 of the State Sector Act 1988) gives the following notice.
N o t i c e
1. Title and commencement—(1) This notice may be cited as the Fisheries (South Tasman Rise Orange Roughy Fishery Annual Catch Limit) Notice 2006.
(2) This notice shall come into effect on the date after the date of its notification in the New Zealand Gazette.
2. Interpretation—Terms used in this notice have the same meaning as defined in the Fisheries (South Tasman Rise Orange Roughy Fishery) Regulations 2000.
3. Annual catch limit varied—The annual catch limit for orange roughy in the high seas area of the South Tasman Rise for the season beginning on 1 March 2006 is decreased to 10 greenweight tonnes.
4. Date of variation—The varied annual catch limit takes effect on 1 July 2006.
