Pursuant to sections 4 and 57 of the Judicature Act 1908, Her Excellency the Governor-General, in the name and
on behalf of Her Majesty the Queen, has been pleased
to appoint
Terence Arnold, Q.C., Solicitor-General for New Zealand
to be a Judge of the High Court of New Zealand and
a Judge of the Court of Appeal of New Zealand to take effect on 19 May 2006.
