Whereas staff numbers do not allow the office of the District Court at Westport to be open from 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. on every day that is not a Court holiday:
Now therefore, I, Richard John Barker, Minister
for Courts, acting pursuant to Rule 20 (3) of the District Courts Rules 1992*, hereby direct that the office of
the District Court held at Westport shall be open from 9.00 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. and from 1.30 p.m. to 4.00 p.m. on every day that is not a Court holiday.
The direction in respect of the office hours of the District Court at Westport notified on the 26th day of February 2001† is hereby revoked.
