Pursuant to section 168 (5) of the Animal Products Act 1999, I give notice that the following amendment to the applicable meat act regime regulations, circulars and directives, listed in Schedule 1 of the Animal Products (Ancillary and Transitional Provisions) Regulations 2000, shall take effect on the date of publication of this notice.

1. Manual 16: Post-mortem Inspection Procedures (issued September 2000), section 6.1 is amended by Amendment No. 7, issued October 2005.
2. Copies of Manual 16: Post-mortem Inspection Procedures as amended by Amendment No. 7 can be:
(a) inspected free of charge at the head office of
