Pursuant to section 60 of the Fisheries Act 1996, the Minister of Fisheries, after consultation with representative organisations that have an interest in section 60, and after consideration of the matters specified in section 60 (3) of the Fisheries Act 1996, hereby gives the following notice.
N o t i c e
1. Title and commencement—(1) This notice may be cited as the Fisheries (Quota Aggregation Limit Exemption) Notice 2006 (No. F356).
(2) This notice shall come into effect 28 days after its notification in the New Zealand Gazette.
2. Interpretation—In this notice, “the Searles” means Edward Shane Searle and Sarah Louise Searle collectively.
3. Exemption to quota aggregation limit increased—From the date that this notice comes into effect, consent is given for the Searles to hold quota shares for tuatua having a combined quota weight equivalent less than or equal to 43.87% of the combined total allowable commercial catches of tuatua.
