Notice is hereby given, in accordance with section 94 (2) of the Motor Vehicle Sales Act 2003, that a Motor Vehicle Disputes Tribunal has found against the following motor vehicle traders:
MVD 173/05Decision No.: Ak. 172/05 Ace Auto Wholesalers Limited Ordered that the trader collect the vehicle from the purchaser at the trader’s expense plus pay the purchaser compensation of $1,426.88 plus any capital payments plus any insurance refunds.
MVD 204/05 Decision No.: Ak. 4/06 S L Cars (NZ) Limited Ordered that the trader pay any capital payments plus insurance refunds plus costs of $50.00.
MVD 231/05 Decision No.: Ak. 14/06 Paritutu Motors Limited Ordered that the trader pay the purchaser the sum of $2,000.00 plus compensation of $595.89 plus any capital payments plus any insurance refunds plus costs of $50.00.
MVD 248/05 Decision No.: Ak. 13/06 Great Wall Motors NZ Company Limited (trading as Great Wall Motors) Ordered that the purchaser return the vehicle to the trader. Trader is to pay any capital payments plus insurance refunds and costs of $50.00.
MVD 271/05 Decision No.: Wn. 1/06 Watkins Wheel Alignment Specialists Limited (trading as Motorcycle Imports Direct) Rescission ordered – ordered that the trader pay the purchaser $2,500.00 plus any capital payments.
MVD 273/ 05Decision No.: Ak. 5/06 Icarus Car Company Limited (trading asFast Fours andTurbos) Ordered that the purchaser return the vehicle to the trader. Trader is ordered to pay the purchaser $3,518.00 plus compensation of $325.00 plus any capital payments and insurance refunds plus costs of $50.00.
MVD 275/05Decision No.: Ak. 6/06 Hallmark Cars Limited (trading as HallmarkCars and Wiri Autos) Ordered that the trader is to have the alarm repaired and reinstalled and pay costs of $50.00.
MVD 279/05Decision No.: Ak. 12/06 Perry’s Automotive Group Limited (trading as Perry’s Lifestyle West Auckland) Trader is ordered to pay the purchaser $17,000.00 plus compensation of $308.59 plus any capital payments and insurance refunds and costs of $50.00.
